PNEUMATICALLY OPERATED VERTICAL LIFT DOORS AT BOTH FRONT AND REAR. THE INTERIOR OF THE FURNACE IS REFRACTORY LINED, DOORS ARE LINED WITH LIGHT WEIGHT ZICAR FIBER. HEAT IS SUPPLIED BY KANTHAL SUPPER 33 MOLY DISILICIDE HEATING ELEMENTS MOUNTED VERTICALLY ALONG THE SIDE WALLS AND DIVIDED INTO (3) ZONES OF CONTROL WITH EACH ZONE HAVING A STEP DOWN TRANSFORMER POWERED THROUGH A SCR. THIS FURNACE WAS DESIGNED TO OPERATE IN AIR OR INERT ATMOSPHERE. FURNACE NEEDS SOME REFRACTORY REPAIR & NEW HEATING ELEMENTS. |
